Dear
Technologists, hope you all are doing well.
Last
month was bit engaging as I have attended two Conferences, read a Book,
attended Webinars, watched Videos, and listened to a Podcast. In addition to
regular office work; here is the quick summary of my learning engagements for the
last month.
Conference – Tribal Qonf 2020
Tribal Qonf 2020 (organized by The Test Tribe Community) is one of the
conferences of the Year that I was looking forward to and I am glad that I have
attended it. This was a 2 day event happened on 27th & 28th
Jun, 2020. Almost every talk was special and had lots of things to learn from.
This
was the 1st season of Tribal
Qonf and it was very well organized and nicely executed event. The best
part is; I got an opportunity to listen to my favorite Software Testing Thought
Leaders (James Bach and Michael Bolton) live. In the past; I have attended
their talks live during OnlineTestConf seasons.

Webinar: State of Testing
report 2020
This webinar
was organized by PractiTest on the
topic What can we learn from the 2020
State of Testing Report.
In
this webinar; panelists have reviewed the main findings of the State of Testing Report – 2020 and
analyzed what this can mean to the present
and the future of the Software Testing
Community.
I
reckon; this is a very informative session and you should check it out here.
Ask Me Anything - Michael
Bolton
This
video is available on TestingUy’s
YouTube channel. This is the recording of a Webinar. I was not able to attend
it live, but could able to watch this video.
In
this AMA session; Michael has answered questions about Braiding Stories (Story about the Product status, Story about
Oracles, Story about the Testing done, etc.), Developers learning Testing (What will happen, What could possibly
go wrong?), and Testing of AI vs AI in Testing?
If
interested; check out the video here.
Podcast - A Career In Testing
This
is an interesting Podcast available on Qualitest’s The Testing Show. You can listen to it here.

Conference - Tricentis User Conference 2020
Attended
Tricentis User Conference 2020
organized by Tricentis. This Conference
was divided into two sections: Practitioner
track (comprised of 8 Parallel Technical Tracks) and Business track (comprised of Tricentis keynotes, Customer panel, &
Partner keynotes).
Though
it was their 1st attempt in Virtual Conference; I am really
impressed the way Tricentis team has executed the whole program smoothly. This
was the 1st time I have attended TUC event and it was all-together good
experience. In addition; I am one of the winners in Top Attentive Member contest ran during the conference. 😇

Book - Buddha in Testing:
Finding Peace in Chaos
This
is a fantastic Book on Software Testing written by Pradeep Soundararajan.
This was
the feeling I had when I started reading this book.
@testertested I am in the middle of the 1st Chapter of Ur Book #BuddhaInTesting & I am just loving it.— YOGESH KHAIRNAR (@yrk15) June 14, 2020
While reading I am getting a same feeling as I get while drinking cold coffee, every sip slowly & with a hope that it shouldn't finish.
Thanks for writing it. #SoftwareTesting
In my
opinion; this is a must read book for everyone
who cares about Software Testing and
the Quality of the Software.
If
interested; check out more details here.
That’s
all from my side.
